Teyana Taylor X Adidas Harlem Good Luck Charm (GLC)

African Americans and African American women have again made history, and during black history month! Teyana Taylor teamed up with Adidas to create her own Harlem Good Luck Charms. Seem to be inspired by the 2013 Chinese New Year, the shoe features bronze and black snake skin, gladiator type ribs, and a rugged sole that is a shoe collectors dream. In the video below from HHS1987 Teyana discusses growing up in Harlem as well as her motivation and involvement for creating a womens basketball shoe that would be desired by men.

The shoe, released during the 2013 NBA All- Star weekend in Houston, is the fastest selling Adidas Original shoe to date.
